Why Choose The Evacu-Trac CD7?
It is the chair fire officers keep recommending for one reason: nothing on it can run flat, seize or need charging. The passenger's own weight drives the descent and a hydraulic governor keeps the speed under control.
Patented Speed Governor
A hydraulic governor caps descent at about 1.1 m/sec for a 100 kg passenger, so the chair never runs away from the attendant. Track tension can be adjusted for lighter or heavier passengers.
Failsafe Brake
The brake is on unless the attendant holds the release bar. Let go for any reason and the loaded chair stops and holds itself on the stairs automatically.
Small Attendant, Heavier Passenger
Gravity does the work, so a lighter staff member can safely bring down a passenger of up to 136 kg. Your warden roster no longer depends on who is physically strongest.
Rubber Tracks Grip Any Stair
Continuous tracks grip concrete, stone, tile, metal and fitted carpet, spreading the load across several steps instead of bumping down one at a time.
Retractable Auxiliary Wheels
Front and rear wheels let the chair roll across landings and corridors, so moving between flights takes seconds. It stays stable and self-supporting on flat ground.
Folds To 270 mm Deep
Folded it is slimmer than a fire extinguisher cabinet and weighs 20 kg, so it can sit in a stairwell cabinet on every floor rather than one unit for the whole building.

Customer Reviews
Feedback from safety and facilities teams across India.
"We put one on every third floor. At 20 kg a single security guard can carry it up if it ends up on the wrong landing after a drill."
"Nothing to charge is the whole point for us. Our older battery chair was flat every second inspection. This one just sits there and works."
"The governor makes the descent feel controlled rather than heavy. Our wardens stopped dreading the drill, which was honestly the real win."
"Fifteen-year warranty settled the procurement argument. On a life-safety line item the committee wanted something that outlasts the AMC cycle."
"Transfer height is genuinely lower than the other chairs we trialled. Moving someone across from a wheelchair took one person instead of two."
"Vingrace surveyed all four towers and told us honestly where a powered unit was needed instead. That advice is why we gave them the full order."
